Blogs are weird.
As far back as I can remember, I've wanted to keep up with some sort of blog. I thoroughly enjoy writing and sharing that writing with others, so it seemed like a good fit. Throughout the years I've probably had dozens of different ones, each revolving around a particular theme that I inevitably abandoned.
I have since become attuned to this habit and as a result, I would like to try to break it.
That is the purpose of this blog.
I wholeheartedly believe that innovation is born from combinations of things that are unexpected. One of my favorite examples of these pairings is art and science. Some of the most influential people from past and current times have believed in combining these two things.
Because of this, I tend to avoid keeping myself in a box, and I enjoy learning about whatever catches my attention at that time. These subjects vary from chemistry to psychology to architecture to biographies. I then apply these seemingly unrelated subjects to my artwork and fiction writing, to create a perspective that I believe is unique to me.
These are the kinds of things I would like to explore with this blog.
Though the topics discussed may be unpredictable, their connection lies in the fact that they explore the inner workings of my mind - the way my mind works, my dedication to lifelong learning, and the way I personally relate all of these subjects to one another.
I hope you'll join me.
